My favorite place is the calligraphy room in my high school. I have a lot of reasons, so I’ll give some of them. In the first place, I can be calm and relax, because I like the smell of the ink, and it is like my room. Second, it is a comfortable space, because it is sometimes silent, so I can forget the time passes. Third, it has a lot of my memories. It’s not only me, so my friends and I see each other once a year. In conclusion, I like it there, because I can have a nice time when I’m in there. So it is a good place for me.

There are a lot of differeces between US and Japan. I'll give some of them. In the first place, the traffic rules are different. In the United States, people drive on the right side of the road, but in Japan, people drive on the left side of the road. And in the United States, people can turn right at red light, but in Japan, people can't go ahead any way. Next, the types of cars are different. In the United States, there are many big and fast cars, but in Japan, there are many small cars, and they aren't so fast, because people have to drive on narrow roads. Next, in the United States, people don't take off their shoes in the house, but in Japan, people take off their shoes in the house. Last, in the United States, generally it takes a short time to cook, but in Japan, it takes a long time to cook. I think that it is natural that there are a lot of differences. We have to know that it is common that there are a lot of differences between own country and another country.
